At the Finance committee meeting the Chairman spoke re a step-change in the PC finances over the last few years – the precept has almost tripled – this has allowed financial support to the village hall and the purchase of VAS etc. To allow the Parish Council to continue to be effective and able to support requests from the community, as well as maintaining the agreed level of reserves, the Finance Committee recommend a 10% increase to the precept request – an amount of £17,142.70.

At the meeting of Monday 18 December 2019, Wrentham Parish Council decided to raise the amount of Precept (tax).   it will raise the Parish portion of Council Tax by approximately £4 per year for a Band D property.

Various projects that need funding were discussed including accoustic panels and heating for the Village Hall, and speed mitigation measures, and planting / maintenance around the village.
